friday letters {5}.

Dear Richard and Karen Carpenter, thank you for recording a b-e-a-utiful Christmas album.  It is a true gem, for real.  A great way to remember Karen.  I have been listening to it in the car to fulfill my Christmas music fix and let me tell you something...I want to be the third Carpenter.

Dear Jamers, we have been transitioning from two naps to one nap.  Let me just say this- there are good days and there are...not so good days.  It seems that on days you need two naps, you will only take one.  On days we try one nap, you really should have had two.  Sigh.  We'll get it figured out eventually.  I have learned this - if I don't get you in bed as close to noon as possible (on your one nap a day schedule), you pass out.  See example below.  Oh, and have I told you lately that I love you?

Dear Barnes and Noble, I could browse your shelves daily if I had all the time in the world...and employees wouldn't give me weird looks.  This book (below) has been on my list of books to check out.  I finally got the chance to flip through the pages last night, and let's just say this- it's now officially added to my Christmas list.

Dear husband, I love you.

Dear Junk Jubilee Jingle, today's the DAY!  I have been anxiously awaiting for this day to come and...it's here!  You consist of two of my favorite things, junk (turned treasure) and Christmas.  I may have to blog about you later, if you're that good.

Have a fabulous weekend, friends!  Christmas music has officially started to play on the radio here.  Anyone else busting out Christmas music yet, or am I the only one?

  1. Okay...just came across your blog. That is the cutest picture of your baby sleeping! The naps at our house have been irregular...so I definitely know how that is! So cute when they fall asleep in the car!

  2. Hey Ali! Thanks for stopping by and saying hi! Ugh, naps are hard....how many? How long? What if they miss their normal nap time? All a learning process, right? :) Hope you've had a great weekend!
