So, I haven't intentionally left you hanging with the next installment of our love story...
I just haven't written it yet.
Oops.
Guess you'll have to wait a bit longer to find out if that was the night of our first kiss or not...muahahaha.
No, but really, I'll get to writing it eventually.
Thanks for being so patient, my friends!
On a completely different note, I got a text late this morning from the husband informing me that he wasn't feeling well...at all.
He NEVER gets sick, so I didn't think much of it.
About an hour later he came home, puked, threw on some sweatpants, a sweatshirt, and a stocking cap, and now this is the sight on our couch:
Makes me sad.
Looks like I'll now be taking on the "nurse" role, alongside the "mama" role.
At least our cat is trying to keep him warm and make him feel better.
There is clearly a stomach bug going around, and I am praying and crossing my fingers that James doesn't get this...or me!
Tonight is also the night for Trick-Or-Treating.
Oh lovely!
I don't know if I feel up to braving the cold weather with the little man tonight.
We didn't buy him a costume this year
(or make it to a pumpkin patch
or carve/decorate pumpkins *sigh*).
We have a hand-me-down pumpkin costume that he absolutely refuses to wear or a bear hat that we can pair with a brown shirt & pants.
I'll probably put that on him, let him greet a few people at the door, and call it a night.
I'm guessing he'll be terrified of all the costumes, anyway.
What a day, what a day...
Is it too early for bed?
Pin It Now!
:( Poor Michael! Prayers that you & James don't get it. Tummy stuff is the worst.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Megan! I agree....tummy stuff is definitely the worst!
