...we'll have enjoyed our snowed in family day the day before.
*seriously, though, I need Friday to be over with
so this "end of the world" talk can be gone.
I mean, even advertisers are milking this for all it's worth.
NO, I will not be buying a car today
since I won't have to pay for it if the world ends tomorrow
sheesh!*
aaaanyway, on to better things,
like the fact that we woke up to this today...
(well, actually, we woke up to the husband's phone ringing obnoxiously at 5:20 am to inform him that school had been cancelled)
this morning has consisted of:
the smell and sound of hazelnut coffee brewing.
the three of us in our pajamas.
cinnamon rolls baking in the oven.
wind whipping the snow around outside.
it's going to be a great day!
to everyone else who is dealing with winter storm Draco,
be careful out there!
Pin It Now!
What a beautiful winter scene!! So peaceful. Stay safe in all that snow!
ReplyDeletethanks, girl!
ReplyDeleteit's sooo wonderful...I've been anxiously awaiting the snow to fall so i'm pretty pumped over here! :)
I think it's so funny that my midwest friends and family (Kansas City) all got snowed in today and we got nothing up here in Cleveland. I think it's supposed to hit us tomorrow though, so we'll see! Happy Holidays to you and yours Kristin!
ReplyDeleteI was telling my mom (also in Iowa, like Kristin) not to expect much, because though we got a looot of wind here in Colorado, we barely got 2" of actual snow! Obviously I was wrong, though! Haha.
DeleteSarah, yes! It is crazy! The midwest got hit HARD (but I enjoyed every minute of it...we hadn't had ANY snow yet, so I was more than ready.) Hopefully you stay safe and warm in Cleveland! Have a wonderful holiday. :)
DeleteKatie, that's too funny! Iowa definitely got dumped on, that's for sure. Hopefully your parents didn't lose power! I have a lot of friends that were without for several hours today...ick. :(
