Not only are they great books, but they are also tied to so many wonderful memories. I say no need to get rid of them! Also, 100% agree with loving to get book orders in school. When I taught 1st grade, that was STILL one of my favorite things. During my plan time I'd sit and flip through the order (and possibly purchase a few too many books...oops). We still have books all over our house, even though my boys are much older than James. I think we STILL have That's Not My Tractor and The Very Hungry Caterpillar. I cannot seem to part with the books, even when they are obviously outgrown in our house! My favorite memories of school are getting book orders back and finding a pile of books on my desk after recess. Now as a mom I get as excited when the boys bring home book orders as they do!
